Your role as an Project Coordinator you will support our team to provide innovative solutions that reduce our clients' carbon emissions, drive cost savings, and accelerate energy performance. This is a Fixed term, 6-month opportunity and based in our Sydney office.

Lead the change, from the frontline

As a valued member of our Energy Solutions Asset Management and Projects team, the Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Management team for successful delivery of projects. They achieve this supporting the Project Manager with project planning and coordination, client support and supply chain management.

With honesty, integrity and respect, you will:

  • Coordinate, liaise & assist the administration of Project Management and Construction activities;
  • Prepare corresponding documents for the day-to-day work performed by Construction Partners;
  • Working closely with the Project Control/Scheduler, Project Administrator for internal reporting requirements to ensure progress of the project is accurately tracked & reported;
  • Coordinate with local councils to manage statutory approvals;
  • Prepare WHS pack for installation team to execute project on site;
  • Support Supply chain and onboarding team for onboarding of contractors and suppliers;
  • Prepare project completion documents for Engineering team to complete as-built design;
  • Organise & prioritise tasks; proactively with a excellent attention to detail;
  • Communicate with all levels of staff & management, both internal & external;
  • Coordinate projects from concept through to delivery, actively engaging and liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout the construction phase;
  • Effective use of inhouse Project Management tools for accurate database management on all active projects;
  • Support coordinating inputs and designs for quoting purposes;
  • Provide support to our sales team with vendor/contractor details to support the sales process; and
  • Prepare and update Lessons learnt register for implementing the same on upcoming projects.

What you'll bring

Here's what you'll need to thrive in this role:

  • Excellent administration, time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience working in a team, preferably within the energy, construction, or services industry.
  • Project management skills, experience in the delivery of solar PV projects will be highly desirable.
  • Experience with HSSE, risk management and/or contact management
  • An understanding of energy use and energy markets in Australia would be beneficial.
  • Intermediate Excel skills highly advantageous
  • Good problem-solving skills with high levels of initiative.
  • Willingness to travel if necessary.
