Our sister company Cabin Services Australia is Australia’s leading provider in cabin cleaning and ancillary services in the aviation industry across Australia. We service over 50 International and Domestic airlines with more than 500 flights per day and the number one priority is to provide on time servicing at the highest possible standard.
An exciting opportunity now exists for a Workforce Planning Manager to join our team on a temporary 6-month contract, with a view to extend. The role is ultimately responsible for overseeing the workforce needs and forecast current and future staffing requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in building airline schedules and allocating labor resources to demand in-line with enterprise agreements.
Some of your key duties and responsibilities
- Day to day maintenance of rosters with changes required due to ongoing or one-off aircraft or operational changes
- Audit of source time and attendance data to ensure accurate data is recorded and the correct application of policies and procedures by station management
- Reporting to management of desired key metrics to assist in running the business efficiently at optimal cost and identifying any potential areas where inefficiencies exist
- Reporting of key operational reports vital to the management of the business
- Responsible for time and attendance user administration and implementation of award rules
- Working closely with HR & Payroll on matters at local level
- Liaise directly with the business Director on matters identified as concerning operations
To be successful in the role:
- Previous experience in workforce management preferably within Aviation
- Strong knowledge in Human Force application will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer literacy skills (must have excel experience)
- Solid interpersonal, communication and influencing skills combined with planning and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability interpret data, Awards and Agreements
