The Role
Land Systems Division (LSD) is seeking experienced and passionate Project Managers looking for a challenge and to be part of a growing team. As an APS6 Project Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence capability. You will support the delivery and management of complex, large scale projects within LSD.
Your responsibilities will require you to apply your project management skills and experience throughout the project lifecycle, from conception through to introduction into service. Your support will be fundamental to the delivery of Defence projects through project reporting, briefings, financial management, and submissions to Government. You will be required to build effective and collaborative stakeholder relationships as you will engage regularly with internal, stakeholders and suppliers to support project delivery.

The right person for this role will be an experienced and committed project management professional who is able to undertake complex project management work, and contribute as part of a high-performing team to achieve results.
You will be invlolved in the management of a range of project activities and coordinate project inputs in accordance with practices and standards appropriate to the complexity of the project. You will have the ability to shift priorities as demand arises, and be able to make informed decisions and proactively resolve problems.
