Based in Sydney's east, the business are a leading construction company who are primarily involved with civil projects across Sydney. They have been involved with multi-million dollar projects with the goal of improving the communities in which the operate.
About the role:
- Manage end-to-end payroll process including onboarding and terminations.
- Processing payroll for over 500 permanent and temporary employees, interpreting multiple construction awards.
- Reconciliation of employee timesheets.
- Raise purchase orders and reconcile accounts where required.
- Assist with the accounts payable process.
- Manage enquires regarding payroll and accounts.
- Assist accountants with payroll, accounts and other ad hoc tasks.
- Full-time on site with no hybrid work offered.
- Experience with processing payroll within construction or construction equipment hire essential.
- Understanding of the payroll process and systems.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong accounting acumen.
