We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team on a 15-month fixed-term contract to cover a parental leave in our Sydney CBD office.
Reporting to the General Manager Finance, this role is responsible for accounts payable administration, and to ensure accurate and timely payment of external bills and refunds to members.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation and payment of payments for Avant’s suppliers and members.
- Management of the end-to-end process for accounts payable.
- Timely resolution of enquiries, both internal and external.
- Responsible for the oversight of the effective performance of the accounts payable function.
- Timely and accurate preparation of reports and reconciliation documentation as required.
- Provide leadership, direction, performance feedback and coaching to direct reports.
- Uplifting the function’s processes and control, existing and new technology.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in accounting or payment processes essential.
- Minimum 5 years Accounts Payable leadership experience.
- Experience in process design and workflow essential.
- Experience with invoice automation software – Exflow/Readsoft (desirable).
