About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a National Range + Price Manager . To better service our customers, Metcash (Campbells & Convenience) is evolving our “Go to market strategy” to ensure we meet our customer’s needs. Core to this is in developing a customer centric range, price and promotion offering enabling strong customer retention and future growth. This position plays a key role in defining and delivering the customer centric range and pricing strategies.
In this Role
- Develop the Campbells & Convenience range strategy (including core range & product grading process) for all categories.
- Develop and maintain Campbells & Convenience pricing strategy and internal management process.
- Develop and maintain Campbells & Convenience promotions guardrails and forward planning & review process.
- Develop and maintain monthly branch display guardrails and process.
- Constantly review and challenge the existing range offering to identify future growth and trend opportunities.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to manage communications and implementation of core range & pricing programs.
You’re Likely a Match If
- Understanding of Australian regulations and Grocery Code of Conduct relating to pricing and promotions
- Effective influencer, using both data and persuasive argument to engage suppliers and team members with the Campbells & Convenience range, price, promotions & display processes & strategies
- Knowledge of FMCG industry, market, trends, and the end to end supply chain lifecycle
- Understanding of data driven insights and analytics generation to form strategy, pricing and ranging
- Curiosity and continuous improvement, to identify best practice and identify its application in our network.
