An exciting role for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and drive the execution of marketing strategies for our Cardiac Surgery business in Australia & New Zealand region (ANZ). In this role, in addition to supporting a high quality portfolio of established therapies, you will lead entry into two new markets, enable revenue growth and deliver on business targets through new product launch impact, market development and market share gain. In this role you will ensure the Cardiac Surgery business leverage the strengths to enable many more patients to benefit from our technologies, solutions, and services.
Cardiac surgery represents end-state treatment in the care continuum for many cardiovascular diseases. There are approximately 1.8 million cardiac surgical procedures in the world on an annual basis. Cardiac surgery remains extremely important in treating complex disease and remains the gold standard on which many of the other therapies being developed in Cardiovascular are based upon.
A Day in the Life
The Marketing Manager working within the Cardiac Surgery business is responsible for developing and driving key marketing and business objectives.This person is an experienced marketer of highly technical and clinical products and demonstrates strength in product launches, marketing communications, commercialization, implementation and execution of short term and long term marketing plans. This role will report into the ANZ Business Manager for Cardiac Surgery and a manage a team of two product managers. You will be responsible for supporting and guiding them in execution of critical initiatives to achieve Cardiac Surgery goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Formulates and reviews corporate short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for specific product or product line.
- Conducts competitive product analysis and market research of product consumer behavior and professional audience.
- Determines the profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements.
- Develops production and marketing strategies and tactics to ensure effective product placement relative to market opportunity, working closely with product development for a specific product, brand, or product area over its entire life cycle. Supports marketing team to execute and deliver on these plans.
- Works with other functions, like global product management and training, to develop sales training and product support for the field team.
- Provides advertising with core brand equity.
- Serves as technical adviser, demonstrating products and troubleshooting product issues.
Must Have
- Degree qualifications.
- Ability to travel upto 25% required . Valid driver's licence required
- Experience creating impactful marketing plans and developing value propositions, positioning and targeting?via different marketing channels
- Proven track record of Physician and KOL engagement
- 5+ years of work experience in product marketing within medical devices
