About the Colour City Caravan Park

The Colour City Caravan Park is a 3.5 star facility located next to the Showground in East Orange. Covering an area of more than one acre, the Caravan Park currently has 5 permanent residents, 16 overnight cabins, 45 powered van sites and sees close to 10,000 people passing though each year.

Jobs/Responsibilities

As the Caravan Park Supervisor you will administer the daily supervision of the caravan park including supervision of permanent park residents, offering high quality customer service to clients and supervising the Caravan Park Team. This includes:

  • Administering the smooth running of the Caravan Park, including communicating with park residents and patrons in person, via phone or by electronic means in securing bookings for a range of accommodation
  • Manage, train, coach and mentor the staff at the Caravan Park, and administer rostering
  • Perform financial reconciliation of daily takings in line with recorded bookings and receipting in accordance with existing software systems
  • Daily inspection to facilitate maintenance and cleanliness of the park and facilities and associated entering of requests to Council systems and standards
  • Monitoring and maintaining Residents Compliance to Park Rules and Provision of Residential Tenancy Legislation
  • Carry out financial responsibilities associated with bookings, banking and electricity meter reading

Skills/Experience

To be successful in this position you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in managing a Caravan Park or similar establishment
  • Proficiency in office administration
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
  • Demonstrated experience delivering excellent customer service to a range of customers
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in rostering staff and working with various computer software packages
  • Availability to work on a rotating roster which operates across 7 days a week including public holidays.
