Medical Receptionist - Full Time Position
Sydney Adult & Children's Ear Nose Throat Centre are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated medical receptionist to work Monday to Friday.
We are a specialist medical practice in Randwick with a friendly, supportive and professional team consisting of 5 receptionists, 3 surgeons, an RN, audiologists and typists.
Our clients ages range from 0-99, so you will be dealing with a very diverse client population.
About the Role
This role involves being the first point of contact for our patients, liaising with doctors and audiologists, arranging surgery bookings whilst managing a busy front desk.
We are looking for a new team member with the following skills;
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, training will be provided in our practice software
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Able to work in a close knit team and also independently
- Previous medical reception is not essential, but customer service experience is a must
- A level of maturity is required to deal with complex patient needs
We are open Monday to Friday with a roster involving a mix of early starts (7.30am) and evening finishes (7.00pm).
The position is available for the successful candidate to start immediately.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- No weekends

Experience:
- Customer service: 5 years (Required)
- Medical admin: 1 year (Preferred)
