Key Role, A Dynamic Position. Large National Employer. Providing Support to First Nations, Families, Children, Women and Youth.
About This Employer: Based in our central regional Townsville office. This Large reputable national employer provides a range of Indigenous community and support services, including counselling, AOD, mediation, mental health, parenting, youth, children, family and domestic violence reduction support. Additionally, projects and programs, tailored for couples, individuals, families, children and women.
Role Purpose : A key member of our operational management team, providing leadership and being part of a varied position.
This key role will lead a range of social services and programs, including counselling and referrals. Under a portfolio of Identified First Nations programs and services, providing leadership and support to our counsellors and support workers.
Essential Skill Set:
- Tertiary Qualified
- Strong communication skills,
- Computer literacy with ability to use electronic patient databases
- Drivers License
- Competent with service delivery, dealing with key stake holders
- Solid counselling/social work experience with First Nations children, youth, women and families
