About the role :
We currently have a full time position available for a reliable, flexible and customer service officer to join the Freight team in Darwin .
Your key responsibilities will include :
- Coordinating freight distribution for the region
- Loading and unloading freight from coaches and trailers, involving repetitive manual handling
- Processing quotes, bookings and payments for freight consignments
- Providing customer service of a high standard
- Responding to enquires at the freight counter and over the phone
- Maintaining computerised records for administration purposes
- Providing general support to the team.

- Forklift licence (essential)
- Satisfactory national criminal history check
- High levels of communication and customer service skills
- A presentable appearance and professional approach to your work
- Reliability and flexibility to do shift-work
- Motivation and commitment to provide excellent service
- Intermediate skills in the Microsoft suite of products
- A working knowledge of a freight Management or booking system
- A proactive hands on’ approach
