The Sector Investment Manager (Screen) manages and coordinates designated funding assessments and related administration, to support the vibrancy and viability of the screen sector in NSW.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Assessing development and production funding applications, making appropriate recommendations, preparing recommendation papers, and liaising with the production sector and other Government agencies regarding relevant projects and initiatives.
  • Ensuring that all funding recommendations and decisions reflect Government priorities, are transparent, compliant with established criteria and key performance indicators, and appropriately balance equity, diversity, return on investment and sector viability objectives.
  • Facilitating the effective and efficient end-to-end administration and information management of funding applications and contracts associated with designated funding programs, to ensure transparency, build accountability and optimise funding outcomes.
  • Contributing to broader project/program development, assessments, negotiations and project/program implementations as required.
  • Contributing to and supporting the development, implementation, ongoing review and improvement of investment and funding frameworks and processes, to improve the quality of investment and funding decisions.
  • Providing cogent, credible advice and support regarding designated funding assessments and administration, to manage risks and optimise outcomes.
  • Building and maintaining constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to facilitate collaboration, foster support and effectively represent Create NSW.

About You

To be successful for this role, you can manage a diverse range of stakeholders with potentially conflicting priorities and limited funding opportunities.

Your sound knowledge of the screen sector combined with significant experience in funding assessments and related contracts administration will be highly valued.
