The Digital and Social Media Marketer will play a vital role in the Expr3ss! growth story. As you'd expect, HR Tech is a huge market with BIG opportunities here in Australia as well as around the globe.
Having advanced knowledge and experience in the use and understanding of tools and technologies essential for performance analysis, forecasting and conversion optimisation, will be beneficial.

This role is newly-created and, whilst Expr3ss! does a significant amount of its business in Australia, this Digital and Social Media Marketer role will scope out, engage and develop new business opportunities through online marketing channels in other regions too.

You'll be expected to:

  • Identify the most productive digital/social channels via a test and learn approach
  • Work with the various offline teams – customer success, marketing, design, programming and sales in order to meet the targets across the business
  • Create, execute and own the online acquisition strategy
  • Source and on-board agencies, where required, to execute the strategy
  • Own planning and delivery of on-target, acquisition-led digital marketing channel performance
  • Optimise all digital response channel performance (PPC, display, social, SEO, channel partners, email marketing, eDMs, post-event follow ups)
  • Administer the use of AI, data and analytics to identify and create opportunity for digital optimisation
  • Input into tools and technologies required to improve conversion performance
  • Ensure integration with the brand strategy and collaborate on new initiatives and leverage existing initiatives
  • Stay abreast of future digital marketing trends, business models and media consumption to enable commercial advantage

The Successful Applicant

The digital landscape in HR Tech is different and constantly evolving. Therefore, it is imperative the Digital and Social Media Marketer has a demonstrable track record of delivering in the HR Tech environment. You’ll know your B2B from your B2C and will understand why the two are equally important. More importantly, you'll understand how to harness the opportunities for B2B to suit more digitally engaged prospects as well as an existing customer base provides - because while business is the customer, their users of the HR Tech are so too.

Whilst your expertise in the use of digital marketing to acquire B2B customers will be irrefutable, just as important is a flexible mind-set that is constantly learning, creating and allows you to follow through to turn a strategy into a tangible omnipresence for Expr3ss!

You'll need to have the following:

  • Be a good story teller
  • Have effective collaboration, communication and influencing skills
  • The ability to write engaging copy and campaigns
  • Be all over Hubspot to drive insights for all internal stakeholders
  • Have the mind set of a data scientist/analyst to drive effective marketing ROI
  • Know how to target audiences using outbound prospecting platforms
  • Can work the different digital marketing channels, including Review Sites and LinkedIn
  • Be able to execute and deliver campaigns across PPC, SEO, email, newsletters and social media wisely and paid channels without breaking the bank
  • Know the impact of key marketing metrics for SaaS business - LTV, CAC, Max CAC, CAC Payback, ARPC
  • Previous success in a fast paced, ever-changing, often pressurised environment
  • Performance and scientific data driven results approach to marketing
