We are seeking an enthusiastic and switched on Social Media Marketing Intern to enhance our digital presence and promote our unique sapphire engagement rings and bespoke jewellery. The ideal candidate is finishing their marketing degree or a recent graduate, passionate about creating beautiful, compelling digital content and driving organic engagement. This role requires a keen understanding of the latest social media trends and algorithms, especially those relevant in 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create visually appealing content, including photos and video reels, tailored to our brand aesthetics.
- Craft creative and engaging captions that resonate with our target audience.
- Schedule regular social media posts across various platforms ensuring consistent brand presence.
- Analyse social media metrics to gauge the effectiveness of strategies and adjust accordingly.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Marketing degree program.
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, current algorithms, and emerging digital trends.
- Proficient in visual content creation, including photography and video editing.
- Strong ability to write captivating social media captions that engage and inspire.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and best practices.
- Available to work around 8 hours per week on site in our Sydney CBD studio - this can be spread across multiple days, eg 4 hours one day and 4 hours another day.
- Passion for gemstones, jewellery, or fashion industry is a plus.
