About the Company
This NSW Government agency is looking for a Communications Officer to come in for a 4 month contract. This position is full time based out of Parramatta Tuesdays in the office, or Regional NSW
About the role
- Identify, research, develop, and integrate science communication activities to support Communication Team initiatives.
- Develop clear content for diverse audiences, stakeholders, and platforms.
- Simplify technical information into plain English, ensuring consistency with business and government objectives.
- Review and develop written and digital content for multiple communication channels.
- Support Communication project teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Foster open communication for effective knowledge sharing among stakeholders, ensuring conciseness and engagement.
About you
- Proven track record in executing communication and engagement initiatives.
- Expertise in fostering open collaboration when engaging with communities and industry.
- Possess a tertiary qualification in communications, engagement, environmental science, data, or information management.
- Offer timely advice to senior project staff to ensure effective science delivery and enhance environmental outcomes.
- Skilled in working collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and manage expectations effectively.
