YOUR ROLE

Our Services Engineering Team is looking for an experienced Environment Governance Consultant iin the Environment Governance squad and you could be it!

As our business adapts to an ever-evolving work environment, we are seeking engineers who can bring an innovative mindset to enhance the capabilities of our DevOps team. Your in-depth comprehension of environment management processes & best practices, DevOps processes, and automation technologies will empower you to assist software development teams in building, testing, and deploying applications.

Your role involves supporting platform teams in the efficient deployment and release of changes while adhering to environment management standards. This includes implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) automation, facilitating monitoring insights, and incorporating automation testing, among other responsibilities.

This full-time, permanent role is open for the Sydney/ Melbourne location and involves a hybrid work model.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an Environment Governance Consultant who possesses exceptional communication and stakeholder influencing skills. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and effectively convey information through storytelling. The desired candidate will bring the following experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or relevant experience in a similar field
  • Experience with handling integrated environment issues in a complex multi-application eco-system
  • Experience with compliance monitoring and incident management implementation & reporting
  • Hands-on understanding of modern software delivery approaches (CI/CD, DevOps, Test Automation, Env & Release management) and Agile ways of working.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and platforms including GitHub/Jenkins/Bamboo, NewRelic, Grafana and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or similar
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines and manage complex tasks.
