Due to an increase in open hours and an internal promotion, we are looking to add to our front of house team with one senior bartender and one bartender. These are exciting opportunities for someone looking to be a part of a successful team delivering the venue's daily operations, our Gin & Tea afternoons, evening bar services, monthly seasonal dinners, and our guided spirit tasting experiences.
Bartending responsibilities
- Setting the mood: reading the room and adjusting the music volume, lighting levels and keeping the candles lit
- Providing seamless, excellent customer service from end to end from greeting and seating through to cashing out and clearing the table. Good banter and knowledge of current events are a must for you to meaningfully engage with our guests
- Preparing and serving a range of cocktails, gins, wines, and other products to a consistently high standard
- Developing and maintaining sound product knowledge: answering guest questions, assisting with purchasing decisions and up-selling as appropriate
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene: the bar is on show
- Venue operations including stock control, cleaning, receiving deliveries and reporting maintenance issues
In addition to this, our senior bartenders are trained to do one more of the following
- Hosting guided tasting experiences: gin, whisky, rum, tequila, or wine (WSET Level 2+ preferred), providing you with opportunities to have creative input into the back bar selection and the development of our guided experiences
