The role

CBCity has an exciting opportunity to join our Governance team as the Administration Officer LPP (Local Planning Panel). You will provide administrative support to the LPP, Design Review Panel and other advisory committees and assist with other Governance related matters.
This is a great opportunity for someone with highly refined written and verbal communication skills to gain insight into our Governance and Property Services unit.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Prepare business paper for the LPP (Local Planning Panel) attend meetings and prepare minutes under the direction of the LPP Chairperson.
  • Prepare Business Paper for the Design Review Panel and attend meetings.
  • Prepare correspondence in relation to LPP matters.
  • Liaise with Panel members, applicants and objectors in relation to the LPP meeting and processes.
  • Make LPP meeting arrangements including site visits, catering and meeting room set-up.
  • Prepare LPP annual report for Department of Planning and Environment.
  • Coordinate preparation of agendas to Advisory Committees, take minutes at Advisory Committee meetings and prepare minute documentation for reporting to Council.

You will have

  • Current C class drivers’ licence.
  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Highly developed skills in word processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation software applications.
  • Basic knowledge of development control functions within Local Government.
  • Ability to deliver quality customer service with highly refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of privacy and personal information protection principles.
  • Effective complaints handling skills and experience.

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $72,474 (Grade E, Step1) + 11% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
