Focus on expanding the customer base (30%) and managing existing accounts (70%). Key responsibilities include:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for growth.
- Manage current customer requirements, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Achieve sales volume growth targets and maintain profitability.
- Conduct regular customer visits for insights and exceptional service.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of products and applications.
- Efficiently manage stock to prevent issues like aging and stockouts.
- Regularly follow up on payments for timely transactions.
- Share relevant market and technical information with the sales team.
- Address and promptly resolve customer complaints and product quality issues.
- 3-5 years experience in front line sales or technical sales role
- Outstanding track record in developing and growing new business
- Self-motivation, persistence and a can-do attitude
- Proactive approach in serving our customers
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and strong commercial acumen
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Able to travel interstate or overseas once a month for one week
- Knowledge of polymer, chemical or similar industry would be advantageous. A degree in Chemistry or Polymer science is desirable but not mandatory.
