We are currently seeking an Aquaculture enthusiast for a Leading Hand position to team near Bowen, QLD (known for its magnificent beaches).

The Aquaculture Leading Hand position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team within the seafood industry, located in the picturesque setting of Bowen, Whitsundays.
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a team of up to seven staff members, operation and maintenance of control system and more.
The role offers:

• Competitive annual salary + Super + Accommodation (all bills incl.) and 9-days fortnight roster
• Relocation assistance will be considered for the suitable candidate

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and supervise a dedicated team
• Job planning and coordination
• Staff training and management
• Machinery operation
• Ordering coordination
• Operation and Maintenance of control systems
• Repairs and troubleshooting of critical equipment and infrastructure

Required Skills:

• Experience in a similar role and/or in a related field
• Previous experience in Seafood industry (preferred). Alternatively, small crops/farming experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
