The Role Of Senior Principal, Reviews Will
- Develop and implement school and system reviews, aligned to system priorities and initiatives, using evidence-based tools and methodologies;
- Quality assure the delivery of reviews to ensure: alignment with agreed protocols; consistency of practice; reliability of evidence collected; and the development of accessible, meaningful review reports;
- Respond to emerging system priorities through the development and implementation of new, innovative review approaches, including place-focused, differentiated reviews;
- Generate qualitative data from reviews to systematically and routinely inform school, region and system improvement and decision-making;
- Oversee the formation of review teams that are tailored to a school's context and/or the expected deliverables for each review;
- Deliver training for all reviewers (internal, external, peer and content expert) to ensure agreed review methodologies and processes are implemented with fidelity;
- Provide timely reports and information to inform senior system leaders and governance structures;
- Partner with Regional Directors and School Supervisors to implement reviews and determine review designations via the Annual performance assessment process;
- Provide advice and input into the delivery and evaluation of professional development programs and learning opportunities for teachers, school leaders and the officers who support teaching and learning; and
- Lead collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to inform the delivery of place-focused reviews and responses.
