About the Role
You will be responsible for all aspects of the repair, maintenance, and servicing of electric mobility and disability equipment. You will be part of a small, friendly and busy team and manage all aspects of the workshop.
You will schedule incoming work, including field service, and carry out the repairs, maintenance and servicing of a range of mobility products including electric mobility scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, lift chairs and beds.
You will take command of all aspects of the workshop – every day will be varied and challenging, but you will be rewarded by helping our customers remain independent. Your duties will include:
- Assembly and pre-delivery safety checks for incoming products
- Planning workshop and field service jobs and communicating with customers
- Carrying out all repairs, servicing and maintenance in the workshop and at customers’ homes
- Keeping records for work completed using a mobile app
- Maintaining and ordering parts and accessories
- Invoicing customers and taking payments

About You
You are a good communicator with a proven customer focussed approach, a passion for quality and outstanding attention to detail. To be successful in this role you will need to have most or all of the below skills and experience:
- Experience working in an equipment maintenance role, preferably with electric equipment
- Ability to listen and adapt to customers with varied needs and provide an exceptional customer experience
- A can-do attitude to problem solving and delivering the desired outcome for customers.
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
- A drivers license for field service jobs using a fully equipped company vehicle
