About the role
As an Underground Service Technician working within the development team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of mining activities. Some of those activities may include; installing and repairing services and ventilation on development headings, building vent walls, tensioning cables, setting up production drill hole sites, operating portable agitators and spraying shotcrete.
This role is offered on a lifestyle friendly 8/6 (days) - 7-7 (nights) roster, FIFO from Cairns or Townsville or DIDO from Mt Isa with a travel allowance. Those that live residential in Cloncurry will receive a local living allowance. You will also be eligible to receive a quarterly bonus, complimentary life insurance and income protection.
About you
Ideally you will have previous experience working in an underground mining environment as well as a current C class drivers licence. You will also be able to demonstrate a positive attitude toward safety and feel confident to identify, report and manage potential hazards.
