Description:
The successful candidate for the Purchasing Analyst role will be responsible for:
- Raise, maintain and monitor purchase orders (PO's) in the ERP system
- Follow up with suppliers throughout the PO lifecycle, from PO creation until goods receipt
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reports that create efficiencies or improve effectiveness of the purchasing function
- Work with Purchasing Manager to update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and with IT/Systems teams to enhance applications that lead to improved efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor supplier performance from a purchasing viewpoint, and bring any issues or concerns to the attention of the broader Procurement
Requirements:
The successful candidate for the Purchasing Analyst role will ideally have the following key skills & qualities:
- Thorough knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management of inventory control.
- Strong attention to detail and an aptitude to follow systematic approach/processes.
- The drive and organisational skills necessary to work across several purchase orders, suppliers, and projects simultaneously.
- Experience in Purchasing within a supply chain or logistics environment, preferably in an FMCG sector.
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
Conditions:
- $100,000 - $120,000
