Position Overview:
As the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations. You will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making and drive the company's growth objectives. This position reports directly to the CEO and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our business success.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support short-term and long-term strategic planning.
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the executive team to drive informed decision-making.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow projections and manage working capital to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
- Optimize cash flow processes and implement effective cash management strategies to maximize liquidity and minimize risk.
Financial Operations:
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Continuously review and streamline financial processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, capital allocation decisions, and potential partnerships or acquisitions.
- Conduct financial due diligence and risk assessments for new business initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in financial management roles, preferably in a B2B or manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
