How will I help?

As a Senior Manager Portfolio Design, you will play a vital role within the Consumer & Business Banking (CBB) Digital business by supporting the forward planning process and ensuring decisions made in our Digital Transformation Program will drive our digital strategy and roadmap. You will be responsible for, business case development and adoption including benefit realisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Digital Transformation Roadmap by working with Delivery teams to develop benefit scenarios and business outcomes associated with Digital projects.
  • Model volume and benefit scenarios to develop business cases with the aim of maximising return on investment. In Conjunction with Finance counterparts, translate into financial benefits. Drive Finance & LOB sign off process.
  • Work with Delivery to define key metrics & KPIs to provide early indication of performance and adoption of new capabilities.
  • Drive ongoing monitoring & reporting of Portfolio Benefits from both a forecast and actuals perspective, and proactively escalate where performance is trending behind or risk to benefits is anticipated. Own follow ups and actions related to benefits across monthly MD SteerCos and Monthly Investment Review Committees.
  • Develop monthly adoption reporting and establish the required tracking against agreed KPIs. Analyse performance with BAU owners and proactively problem solving and escalating where performance is below expectations.
  • Develop partnerships with Delivery and Finance to ensure a consistent view of Digital performance against business cases.
  • Enable clarity across the team on strategic priorities.
  • Ensure relevant Senior Management are informed of the progress of key initiatives.

What do I need?

  • Proven experience in analysis and reporting.
  • Expert in Excel & Powerpoint with financial modelling experience required.
  • Presentation skills to high quality and speed, catered to a senior & exec management.
  • Sound understanding and knowledge of Digital channels.
  • A background in financial services relating to finance, consulting, or execution are highly desirable.
  • CA qualified or BA with prior financial services experience as a trusted advisor advantageous
  • Excellent organisation with ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.
  • Passionate about building strong working relationships, with an ability to engage and influence effectively.
  • Driven to deliver- proven ability to deliver the best possible results for the organisation; and shows determination, resourcefulness, and a sense of purpose in achieving this.
