We've been engaged by a large Australian financial institution to provide resources to their Market Risk replacement project. By joining this program, you will benefit from working with an established client team, fully involved in the project initiation through to project implementation. The role will focus on building out the Team for the project and ensuring the progress of the project.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and triage incoming work requests
- Manage estimation and resource assignment
- Create and manage Project Schedules
- Perform regular risk assessment and risk management
- Develop regular status reporting
- Work closely with the project team, showing understanding of their competing priorities
- Manage the project through testing and implementation phases
- Complete Project shutdown activities
SKILLS
Must have
- 5 - 10 years experience in Project Management in a Banking Finance Domain
- Strong market risk/Basel 2.5 domain experience
- A demonstrated record of successful delivery of projects as technical project manager
- People and team leadership skills
- Ability to work on multiple project assignments simultaneously
- Solid knowledge of Banking and Finance industry
- Strong Leadership and verbal and written communication skills
- Disciplined and organized approach
- Eagerness to learn, good initiative and flexibility
- Eagerness to teach and to share their skills with team members
Nice to have
- PMP/ Price 2 certification
