We are on the lookout for an extraordinary Senior P&C Business Partner to join our dynamic P&C team! Reporting to the Head of People, Culture and Talent, you will be leading our P&C Business Partnering activity. This role will see you establishing and monitoring Business Partnering standards, strategic alignment, and executing people management plans. Additionally, the Senior People & Culture Business Partner will lead a team of P&C Advisors to provide coaching, direction, and leadership. Our P&C team is working to create a great people experience – you’ll get to be part of a team shaping this work, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and leading initiatives that make a positive impact.
The role will involve the following activities:
- Provide high level P&C support and advice to the organisation.
- Communicate high expectations and coach team members.
- Oversee and monitor policies, processes, and procedures.
- Investigate, address, and resolve employee/contractor complaints or disputes thoroughly, ensuring all grievances are resolved appropriately.
- Investigate breaches of Code of Conduct, work instructions, policies, and procedures
- Understand and manage organisational risks and dependencies.
- Manage performance-related matters such as disciplinary actions, terminations, contractor oversight, and performance reviews.
- Coach managers and team members to model our values and leadership behaviours to create a positive culture.
- Lead initiatives to enhance our workplace culture.
- Building strong operational knowledge.
- Support strategic workforce planning.
About You:
- Completion of a graduate degree or relevant industry certification
- Proven experience delivering results as a P&C business partner
- Ability to lead change programs in complex organisations.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Experience in supporting cultural change initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and other relevant legislation
- Experience dealing with complex, sensitive inquiries and conversations with discretion.
- Ability to navigate fast-paced, complex work environments.
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability motivate and maintain a high achieving team culture.
- Possess a current Victorian Driver Licence
