About the Role
u&u have partnered with a growing boutique accounting firm who are looking for an experienced Manager to join them focusing on individual/personal taxation.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Direct liaison with a growing portfolio of individual clients, collecting required information to prepare individual tax returns, and adding files to the document management system (Google Drive);
- Supervise a team of two offshore junior accountants, reviewing drafted returns and giving feedback to junior staff, advising them on Australian tax laws; and
- Work to a targeted monthly team budget.
About You
- Advanced knowledge and experience of individual taxation;
- Experience managing, mentoring and training a small team;
- Knowledge of Xero Tax / Xero Practice Manager; and
- An understanding of cryptocurrency, and ideally experience in working with Crypto tax software such as Koinly or CryptoTax Calculator.
