About the Role

u&u have partnered with a growing boutique accounting firm who are looking for an experienced Manager to join them focusing on individual/personal taxation.

Key responsibilities in this role include:
Direct liaison with a growing portfolio of individual clients, collecting required information to prepare individual tax returns, and adding files to the document management system (Google Drive);

Supervise a team of two offshore junior accountants, reviewing drafted returns and giving feedback to junior staff, advising them on Australian tax laws; and

Work to a targeted monthly team budget.

About You

Advanced knowledge and experience of individual taxation;

Experience managing, mentoring and training a small team;

Knowledge of Xero Tax / Xero Practice Manager; and

An understanding of cryptocurrency, and ideally experience in working with Crypto tax software such as Koinly or CryptoTax Calculator.

What's on offer:
8:30am to 5pm standard working hours;

3 days per week remote working; and
