About the role

We have an amazing entry-level opportunity in our Sydney office for a casual Accounts Officer to join our busy team. This role would be ideal for a candidate looking to launch their career in Accounts, in a vibrant professional services environment.

Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager, your tasks will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Employee reimbursements
  • Client maintenance
  • Process high volume invoices & arranging payment
  • Cheque handling and processing
  • Client refunds
  • Petty cash handling
  • Input EFT, direct debits, deposits & weekly write-offs
  • Corporate credit card reconciliations
  • General e-filing & mail duties
  • Attend to general Accounts helpdesk enquiries
  • Ad hoc accounts duties as required

About you

To be successful in this role, you must be available a minimum of two days per week. Some of the qualities and attributes we are looking for include:

  • The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times;
  • Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems;
  • High rate of accuracy and attention to detail; and
  • Be motivated and commercially minded.
