Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Afternoon shift - 10.00am to 6.30pm Onsite – Huntingdale VICOur client is a family-owned business with long term growth plans providing strong focus on both diversity and sustainability, within the essential services industry.
About You:
- Relevant Trade Qualification in heavy vehicles
- Previous fleet experience in a similar role highly regarded.
- Strong initiative and an ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of hydraulics and electrical
- Current rigid truck drivers’ licence
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative, scheduled maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles
- Ensure fleet is maintained and compliant with company standards
- Work safely and effectively following safety guidelines and procedures
- Maintain service records and documentation to a high standard
- Manage emergency breakdowns as they arise
If successful, you will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical along with drug and alcohol testing. Evidence of driving record/history may also be required.
