An ESO position exists at the Trinity College Blakeview school, to work as part of the Learning Inclusion team to provide support to students and enhance engagement with student learning. The position is 5 days with the desired arrangement of hours being Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, term time only.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Provide classroom and administrative support for teaching and learning programs with the aim to improve student learning opportunities
  • To help support and develop student wellbeing initiatives
  • Individual and small group supervision
  • To support the Christian Ethos of the College and be aware and participate in the College’s mandatory reporting policies

What you will need to succeed:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally and by Trinity College Values
  • Flexible availability
  • Organisation skills
  • Comply with and acknowledge the College’s Child Safe Policy and adhere to the Child Safety Code of Conduct
  • Working with Children Check
  • RRHAN-EC Masterclass Certificate
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (onsite training available)

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certificate III in Education Support
  • Knowledge of Trauma Informed Practice
