Position Profile: We are seeking motivated and dynamic individuals to join our Health Information & Administrative Service team at Perth Children's Hospital.

Successful candidates will provide administrative and clerical support services to the Surgical Directorate. Reporting to the Administrative Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work within the administration team and provide secretarial support including actioning routine matter, drafting responses and preparing basic reports.
  • Screen and process incoming correspondence, inter hospital, public and private via phone and in person and direct queries to appropriate personnel.
  • Provide a reception service to the area. Receive visitors (patients, staff or members of the public) and phone calls and respond, inform or direct appropriately.
  • Transcribe correspondence, memoranda, minutes, reports/summaries and presentations from dictation or draft. Proof read and edit copy for completeness and correctness.
  • Arrange meetings, prepares agendas and takes minutes as required.
  • Organise and maintain filing systems.
