Retail, Consumer & Auto (RCA) provides specialised contract warehouse and distribution services to a range of industries across the globe including Consumer & Beverages, Specialty Retail, Auto and FMCG. We offer our customers an array of robust and flexible logistics and warehouse distribution solutions in the third-party logistics (3PL) market. The Opportunity: Toll Group is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Operations Administration Assistant to join our Retail & Consumer team at Prestons, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our operations, with Telstra as our valued customer. This role is a fixed term contract until April 2025, and will work Monday - Friday 38 hours a week. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will cover administration duties across the office and adjacent warehouse. As the Operations Administration Assistant, you will:
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key Telstra customers and operations staff.
  • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of safe working practices to eliminate downtime due to accidents or injuries.
  • Manage payroll processes and timesheets for all areas of the Distribution Center and ensure timely recording of timesheets, submission of leave forms, and accurate review of worked hours.
  • Ensure all visitors and contractors are properly inducted and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Control documentation distribution, including internal and external communications.
  • Manage office equipment, supplies, and stationery.
  • Order uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment for staff in accordance with relevant guidelines.
About you:
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably with payroll experience, in a logistics or similar industry.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with WH&S procedures and payroll processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
