The opportunity

We have the opportunity for an Agency Administration Officer to join our Elders Insurance Business. Reporting to the Agency Services Manager you will be joining a team of other Agency Administration Officers to support the onboarding, and offboarding of staff within our Agency Network along with supporting the processing of Agent Payments.

Your new role
  • Maintain and monitor the Agency Payment System ensuring timely processing and accuracy of payments
  • Support reconciliation of GL/Bank Accounts
  • Set up and maintain Agency employee records and systems access
  • Calculation and processing of Agency employee subsidies
  • Support maintenance of EIUA Agency records
  • Ongoing support of Agency Administration items transitioned to our Global Shared Services Centre
  • Meet Agency Support Services Team customer service standards and work with team and/or GSSC to address items outside agreed SLAs
  • Participate in UAT activities predominately in Oracle Financials, FindIt etc.
  • Continually review operational processes to identify improvements in processing efficiencies and cost saving initiatives
  • Participate in projects/initiatives aligned to the wider business plan
  • Provide back up support in all facets of the Senior Administrators role

About you
  • Sound knowledge and experience in fields of financial management, payroll, basic accounting e.g. accounts receivable and payable (highly desirable);
  • Experience with preparing and maintaining manuals/user guides (desirable);
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong relationship management skills together with a positive attitude;
  • Strong customer service focus with attention to SLAs and providing quality outcomes;
  • Ability to identify service improvements through recommendation and facilitation of updates to user manuals and documented procedures;
  • Adaptable to ever-changing environment including new work practices, systems and structures;
  • Intermediate to advanced skills (Word and Excel).
