We’ve created an opportunity for an HR Coordinator to join the team, and implement new and developing HR strategies, as we drive the business through an exciting phase of growth.
The role
The responsibilities of the HR Coordinator will include:
- Learn and specialise in the use of the HR management and business support systems
- Execute recruitment processes and support the organisation to realise its workforce plans
- Administer data and employee records for our business
- Monitor incoming support requests from the wider business and assist the leaders in handling responses to internal all HR matters
- Create and update documentation including contracts, HR letters, and formal correspondence
- Play the internal client-facing role in the workplace, and support team cohesion through culture building events and initiatives
- Coordinate the priority of support requests for the business to receive the maximum benefits from HR support
- Onboard new employees, managing sensitive data and information
- Support the business’ leaders in day-to-day activities and HR projects
- Ensure internal document control, filing, and record keeping follows required standards
- Develop and recommend administrative and HR system improvements
- Assist the business to keep up with training and development plans.

Essentials
The successful applicant will:
- Be competent utilising CRMs, administrative and record keeping systems, and online communications tools
- Be competent utilising Microsoft 365 suite of tools
- Have great phone mannerisms with a happy and supportive disposition when corresponding internally and externally
- Be flexible, adaptive and understanding of the requirements of this changing and growing business
- Have great attention to detail, excellent written and spoken English
- Have confidence to make decisions within the scope of your position
Having a HR Degree or a Degree in a related field may be advantageous.
The work environment
Agri Labour Australia is located in a modern space in Fortitude Valley. With shared parking facilities, on site café, public transport nearby, and located within very close proximity to the Fortitude Valley and CBD food and cultural precincts.
The role will report to the General Manager – Shared Services, and the successful candidate will be willing to work across functions while developing this key position and remaining open to learning.
