Description:

Key Criteria :

  • Certificate IV qualification in Training and Assessing (TAE 40116 minimum)
  • Training & Assessment experience in mining, civil or rehabilitation environment
  • Experience with and understanding Verification of Competency (VOC) in the workplace
  • Extensive experience operating machinery (Preferred machines include Dozers, Front-end loader, excavator, articulated haul truck, water cart).
  • Active driver's licence
  • 4WD certificate (Desired)
  • Strong administration, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to complete full pre-employment medical including drug screen
  • Willing to complete national police check prior to employment.

On Offer :

  • Full time permanent opportunity
  • Fifo 8 : 6 roster
  • 12-hour days including travel to and from site.
  • Medical, PPE and flights provided by Eastern Guruma.
  • On call support provided for completion of any required inductions / onboarding forms.

About the Role :

The role is a permanent full time FIFO opportunity. Working an 8 : 6 roster, 12 hours a day.

  • Preparing and delivering workplace training and assessment needs consistent with Eastern Guruma standards.
  • Developing and implementing site training and assessment resources and materials against company qualifications.
  • Maintaining and updating of training and assessment records.
  • Conducting verification of competencies for operational sites.
  • Administration, reporting and continual improvement of requirements for training and assessment.
  • Coaching and mentoring any and all site staff as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policy and procedure.
