About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Performance Manager to join our Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP) based at Osborne Naval Shipyard, South Australia.
Reporting to the Head of Program Delivery, this executive role will lead and manage the program's performance across all delivery streams, providing informed recommendations and data driven decisions to enable best for program outcomes.
The key objectives of the role include but are not limited to;
1) Development and enhancement of Program KPIs including lead indicators and program insights;
2) Active Performance Management of HCFP delivery teams; and
3) Program Management of Delivery Enablement scope across HCFP.

We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.

Key responsibilities include:

* Active Performance Management of HCFP delivery team against agreed objectives, including support to scope owners in the development of recovery plans where required.
* Successful Program Management of Delivery Enablement scope across HCFP within time, cost and quality constraints.
* Develop and continually enhanced the Program Metrics/KPIs and program insights for both internal and external stakeholders including the management of key Strategic and Operational Performance Measures.
* Establish a digital data repository from various sources and develop appropriate dashboards for HCFP. Utilise this data to develop and communicate program insights, advising best for program options/recommendations including mitigation strategies.
* Delivering and continually optimising the HCF Program reporting.
* Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring of project management and other professionals within the direct and adjacent teams.
* Bringing a continuous improvement delivery focus


About YOU

* Tertiary Qualification in Project Management (advantageous)
* Proven experience successfully delivering complex projects and programs
* Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
* Demonstrated experience in delivering through integrated matrix teams, using leadership and influencing skills.
* The ability to synthesise complex information and messages to executive stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Minimum Baseline Defence Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain
