We have an exciting opening for a Management Accountant to join our team at NIS Food Packaging Pty Ltd in Underwood, QLD. This full-time role provides crucial support and delivery of accurate reporting and analysis in line with accounting standards, regulations & decision-making- mainly working with our team. This organisation is a growing business with a strong market presence and ongoing revenue streams.

The Role

This organisation is seeking a skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join their team:

• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Maintain the general ledger to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in tax compliance activities.
• Coordinate and support external audits.
• Keep a keen eye on program budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate records.
• Bank, Balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong management accounting skills.
• Advanced excel skills.
• Master's qualification in Business, Accounting, or related discipline with 3 or more years of experience.
• You can think commercially, be proactive, manage deadlines as well as think outside of the box to solve complex problems.
• You are an energetic customer centric finance professional, a commercial thinker.
