About the Role
An excellent opportunity exists for an HR Graduate or experienced Recruitment Officer to join the progressive team at the Shire of Esperance.
The position reports directly to the HR Coordinator and plays a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and onboarding new employees.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the Organisational Management team to understand staffing needs
- Crafting engaging job adverts and promoting openings across various platforms
- Conducting thorough candidate assessments and interviews
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process with enthusiasm and efficiency
- Building and maintaining relationships with potential candidates and external partners
- Maintaining Organisational Charts
- Providing HR reporting to the organisation, as required.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- HR degree or proven experience as a Recruitment Officer, preferably within Local Government.
- Sound analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen eye for identifying top talent who will make a positive contribution to the Shire.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Benefits:
Salary: $70,597 pa, plus superannuation.
