With a Digital, Technology and Innovation branch of around 40, Camden Council are seeking to hire experienced IT Leaders to help support the accelerated growth of the region. Your New Role:

Reporting to the Head of Technology Services, The Team Leader IT Service Delivery is responsible for empowering a high-performing IT Service Delivery team and championing best practices frameworks to ensure exceptional service and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the CIO and Head of Technology Services, provide leadership, guidance, and daily supervision to the IT Service Delivery team;
  • Develop, implement, and manage core ITSM processes including Request Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management;
  • Foster effective business partnerships between the branch and its customers;
  • Lead the Council's IT Change Management process, ensuring smooth service implementation and minimal disruptions;
  • Provide level 3 or higher technical support to team members and escalate complex issues as necessary;
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets assigned to end users, ensuring security and compliance;
  • Oversee relationships with third-party vendors to ensure quality service delivery;
  • Continuously review customer requirements and team member skills to optimize service quality;
  • Collaborate with peers to lead the management of service provision and delivery of solutions; and
  • Coordinate corporate reporting and monitor allocated budgets.

Your Skills & Experience:

We'd love to hear from you if you have most of the following key experience/capabilities:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology or related discipline;
  • Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and proven ability to implement ITSM best practices;
  • Experience in coordinating IT Change Management and providing technical support;
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating IT teams and building positive relationships with customers;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects within set timelines and budgets;
  • Experience in setting up and configuring IT Service Management platforms;
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level applications and infrastructure; and
  • Additional certifications in ITSM frameworks, business analysis, or project management.
