Exciting Finance Business Partner opportunity with well-regarded organization from the Construction sector.
The organisationOur client us a well-regarded organisation from the Construction industry with multiple sites across Victoria. They are currently seeking to recruit a Finance Business Partner in Melbourne on a newly created role (permanent, full-time).
The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for preparing, analysing and delivering management reports, annual budgets, forecasts and ad hoc analysis.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with cost centre owners to prepare annual budgets and forecasts
- Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting for cost centres
- Anlysing variances and the identifying key business risks/opportunities
- Delivering performance analysis and identifying cost saving/profit improvement opportunities
- Monitoring the month end close process
- Overseeing financial processes, internal controls, and external audit
- Act as a key user for implementation and evolution of Finance applications/systems
Skills & Experience required
- CA/CPA qualification, and relevant Tertiary qualification (accounting/finance)
- Previous experience in a similar role – exposure to the Construction industry is advantageous
- Strong communication and business partnering skills
- Good time management and ability to work towards deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership mentality, and a can-do attitude
