The organisationOur client is a leading organisation from the Education sector. They are recognised internationally for their excellence and outstanding performance. They are currently seeking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team for a 12-month fixed term contract.
The role
Reporting to a Finance Manager, this position will be responsible for supporting complex financial transactions, resolving related accounting issues, as well as preparing budgets and financial/management reports.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the preparation and submission of grants/funding proposals
- Monitoring and maximising use of project funding
- Preparing budgets, forecasts as well as financial/management reports for allocated projects
- Analysing results again forecasts, and providing strategic insights
- Preparing briefs and presenting findings to non-finance stakeholders
- Supervising a team of management accountants
- Supporting process improvement initiatives
Skills & experience required
- Relevant tertiary education in finance/accounting. CA/CPA qualification
- Experience working as a Finance Business Partner in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Strong budgeting and forecasting skills
- Previous experience with SAP is advantageous
- Excellent presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Resourceful individual, with good problem solving skills
