About the team
The Aurion System Support team is a part of the Shared Services Hub in the Department and delivers a high quality service to our client agencies for payruns and Aurion system support.
Functions of the team include:
- Client Payruns
- System Reporting
- Manage and maintain system access
- System maintenance
- System changes and enhancements
- Stakeholder engagement and vendor relationship managements
- Change management
Our ideal candidate
Our ideal Aurion System Administrator will have the ability to:
- draw on information from multiple sources and use agreed guidelines to analyse what information is important and how it should be used
- encourage the support of relevant stakeholders
- research and analyse information and make recommendations based on evidence
- work independently as well as part of a team

- establish task plans to deliver objectives

- follow direction provided by Supervisor
- identify issues that may impact on tasks

- demonstrate leadership skills and behaviours expected at the APS5 level as reflected in the Integrated Leadership System (ILS)
The key duties of the position include
As an Aurion System Administrator at the APS Level 5, you will:
- Contribute and participate in the achievement of team outcomes
- Contribute to improved business processes and service delivery
- Assist with functional testing of maintenance releases
- Develop and maintain documents and procedures
- Continued support of DISR and client Agencys instances of Aurion
- Work collaboratively with team members, clients and stakeholders to achieve common goals
- Provide a high level customer service to our client agencies and stakeholders
- Contribute to a collaborative culture within the division
- Contribute to business delivery activities including:
- Vendor, contract management and administration
- BAU
- Audit
- Reporting
- Development operations delivery
- Capability and development
- Strategy development
- Client engagement, experience and communications
