The Role
Hudson has partnered with a high-profile government agency seeking to engage a suitably experienced APS 6 Senior Program Officer to join their Community Programs team. If you have experience in crafting grant guidelines, strong project management and stakeholder engagement, then this may be the role for you!

Duties:
- Manage grant programs, project and/contracts by:
- Drafting high quality grant guidelines and grant agreements.
- Working within grant frameworks.
- Data analysis, monitoring and evaluation and program reporting.
- Financial management and approvals (variations etc).
- Program governance (issues/risk registers/project plans etc).
- Supporting the development of new grant programs in line with best practice approach (including the development of standard operating procedures).
- Build and sustain positive relationships with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders
- Drafting and contributing to regular reporting, ministerial briefs and correspondence, Senate Estimate briefs, media releases and other requests for program information.
Do You Have?
- Ability to craft clear, accurate, and comprehensive grant guidelines that outline program objectives, eligibility criteria, application procedures, evaluation criteria, reporting requirements and other pertinent details
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills and experience.
- Understanding of budgeting principles, financial reporting, and accountability mechanisms to ensure effective allocation and use of program funds.
