One of Hudson's key Government clients is looking for an experienced, high performing APS6 Senior Program Officer. You will be working within a Branch responsible for providing strategic policy advice and delivering programs that support the delivery of communications services to all Australians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in managing multiple Grantees and Grant Agreements, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of funded projects. Monitor Activity Milestones to maintain contract compliance.
- Conduct thorough verification and assessment of Activity Milestones and associated invoices to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Independently solve contract management issues while ensuring alignment with Program Guidelines, Funding Agreements, and relevant legislation
- Foster strong business relationships with grantees through regular engagement activities, including progress meetings, email communication and phone calls.
- Manage tools to support implementation activities, including schedules and reports.
- Organise and facilitate regular meetings, develop agendas and ensure relevant stakeholders are well prepared with necessary information.
- Produce a variety of high-quality written material including Estimates Briefs, Ministerial Submissions and Meeting Minutes
- Process invoices efficiently using SAP to ensure accurate financial management.
To be successful for shortlisting, you must have:
- Demonstrated experience in grant agreement/contract management or infrastructure program management
- Experience preparing ministerial correspondence and briefing materials
- Familiarity using Excel to undertake data analysis and investigation
- Strong organisation skills including good time management and an ability to balance competing priorities
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to build relationships and liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Abillity to work independently and taking initiative to manage own work flows
