Position Overview: They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with specialized knowledge in civil engineering, particularly with significant experience working with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing road and bridge projects, demonstrating exceptional leadership and project delivery skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of civil engineering projects, with a primary focus on roads and bridges.
- Liaise with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) to ensure project compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Lead project teams effectively, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget constraints.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to promote collaboration and successful project outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience managing civil engineering projects, particularly with DTMR.
- Strong knowledge of roads and bridges construction methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time, both within Brisbane and away on project sites.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
