Description:
A Project Manager with strong cloud related project experience is required for a high level cloud platform implementation for a client in Finance. Using your Technical Project Management expertise to ensure the successful delivery of the project, supporting key integrations and data migrations, as well as coordinating technical delivery. On an initial 6 month contract with likely extension.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with vendor to lead the end-to-end project management of the IT platform deployment, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Set milestones and key deliverables for the projects and ensuring the team remains focused and on track with project timelines
- Drive stakeholder engagement and communication, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Utilize your expertise in Agile methodologies to streamline project workflows, optimize resource allocation, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support Release Management, Change Management and testing
Essential Requirements
- Extensive experience in leading cloud related projects in Banking/Finance/Insurance - mandatoryTertiary Qualification in Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience (Desired)
- Certificates in Project Management is desirable
- 5+ years in a IT Project Management role
- Proven success in managing projects with tight deadlines
- Located in Brisbane to attend the Brisbane CBD office for 3 days a week / 2 days WFH
