This is vacancy is for Permanent Part-Time Appointment at 45.60 hours per fortnight (0.6FTE).

About this role


The WA Eating Disorders Outreach and Consultation Service (WAEDOCS) is a state-wide service that aims to ensure youth and adults in WA with an eating disorder can access optimal best practice care. Our multidisciplinary team provides consultation and education to up-skill and support health care professionals to deliver evidence-based high-quality eating disorder care.


As part of the recent expansion of the ED services in WA, WAEDOCS has been funded to expand its services. This is an exciting time for the service as we seek to build on our networks with national organisations as well as continue to lead and innovate in the delivery of education, and support of clinicians working with people with eating disorders.


As part of an interdisciplinary team, the Senior Dietitian provides high quality advanced Dietetic services using extensive knowledge and specialised practice skills. In this role, you will provide a specialised level of Dietetic advice to other senior medical, nursing and allied health staff in the management of patients with eating disorders inclduding inpatient and outpatient services. You will support the DIetetic Coordinator by assisting with planning and delivering an annual dietetic calendar. You will also assist the coordinator with clinical service planning and delivery of Dietetic Services. You will contribute to clinical research and service development in relevant clinical areas.


This role reports to the Dietetic Coordinator.
